Bring ESG information and evidence into one clear process.

AppleTree APTESG is preparing its first company pilots around a structured ESG baseline. The pilot brings answers and evidence together, keeps detailed results private and tests how the process works in practice.

A practical starting point

Create a usable baseline before adding complexity

The pilot is designed for companies that want a clearer way to organise ESG information, connect it to evidence and identify what needs attention.

Information is scattered

ESG answers often sit across teams, spreadsheets and documents, making a consistent baseline difficult to assemble.

Evidence is hard to organise

Policies, records and supporting files need a clear connection to the statements they are intended to support.

Progress is difficult to explain

Without a repeatable structure, it is harder to identify gaps and communicate next steps internally.

Who the pilot may fit

Teams ready to build a clearer ESG baseline

  • Companies beginning to structure ESG information and evidence
  • Teams that already have sustainability activity but need a consistent baseline
  • Organisations willing to test the workflow and provide candid operational feedback

Pilot pathway

From fit conversation to practical feedback

AppleTree APTESG is selecting its first pilot participants. Scope and timing are confirmed with each company before onboarding.

01

Fit conversation

We learn about your organisation, current ESG work and what you want to test through the pilot.

02

Pilot onboarding

We confirm scope, introduce the current workflow and identify the people who will contribute information.

03

Assessment and evidence

Your company completes the 36-question E, S and G baseline and provides relevant supporting evidence.

04

Review and feedback

Results remain private while we review submissions and gather feedback on usability, workload, clarity and applicability.

Current scope

What exists now, and what is planned

The pilot separates usable current capabilities from later public and automated features.

Available during the pilot
  • A structured 36-question baseline across Environmental, Social and Governance topics
  • A working product and dashboard being updated to align with ESG Methodology V1
  • Company answers linked to relevant documents and supporting evidence
  • Private results, with parts of collection and review handled manually during the pilot
Planned development
  • Public recognition levels and badges, once the operating model is ready
  • Public company profiles, while detailed scores and submitted evidence remain private
  • Greater workflow automation and a future Materiality and Sector Layer

Participation expectations

A collaborative, evidence-led pilot

Participating companies act as design partners, helping improve both the company experience and the operating methodology before wider use.

  • Provide accurate answers and evidence that are appropriate for the pilot scope.
  • Nominate a point of contact who can coordinate information across the organisation.
  • Share practical feedback on usability, workload, clarity and applicability.
  • Do not include confidential or sensitive material in the initial application form.
